The vomeronasal organ or Jacobson's organ, is a paired auxiliary olfactory sense organ located in the nasal septum, above the palate. This light microscope micrograph shows the vomeronasal nasal organ of a rat embryo with his typical C shape, surrounded by a cartilaginous capsule
